- Transparent PV surfaces create a signature look while harvesting usable energy for charging and topping up the battery.
- Hybrid solar + battery logic lets the device draw from solar when available and fall back to battery when it isn’t.

An idea born where power cuts were normal.
PacSolar’s founder grew up in an environment where electricity outages were a daily reality-unreliable, yet still expensive. Irons, sewing machines, study lights and other essential tools depended on a grid that couldn’t be trusted, disrupting both daily life and income.
That experience created a simple conviction: essential work shouldn’t stop because the power did. PacSolar is the result-an attempt to blend Canadian engineering with the real, daily needs of households and micro-entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
